Contractors

We are aggressively seeking Electrical Contractors to become Sales Partners.

There is a transition that needs to occur in the electrical contracting field. Currently, electrical contractors sell materials and labor to their clients based primarily on the price of materials and suitability of purpose.

There is a huge opportunity for the electrical contractor that can expand their customer discussions beyond the technical merits and include the quantitative to energy bills. Customers want their energy bills to be considered by an electrical contractor, but rarely is it even contemplated.

Here’s what we mean. The customer ultimately pays the associated energy bills from the equipment that the electrical contractor installs. For example, an electrical contractor recommends a lighting system that costs “X” because it will work and is inexpensive to buy. However, EPS offers a solution that costs more than “X”. When more closely examined, the EPS solution also will consume 30% less energy for the customer FOREVER making the additional up-front cost a bargain! Unfortunately, the customer is not given the complete analysis with which to make smart decisions and is provided the cheap option.

Common Occurrences of Wasting Customer Money:

  • Continuing to install HID lighting, even Pulse Start Metal Halide
  • Misapplying Induction Fluorescent Technology
  • Thinking that LED is the best thing since sliced bread
  • Installing fluorescent high bays made of steel boxes… trapping heat inside and half-living the ballasts and lamps
  • Believing that T5 is the only technology for high bay lighting
  • Installing an inflexible lighting system that can’t easily (after the installation) add motion sensors or relocate fixtures to adapt to a customer’s changing environment
  • Not factoring in the huge cost of on-peak energy use and reducing it with day lighting
  • Wiring a building in a manner that doesn’t put the customer in control of their lighting relative to the customers needs and possible changes
  • Continuing to install HID lighting outside on poles and wall packs
  • Not fully understanding the financial analysis of renewable energy and telling customers that the ROI is too long
  • Not offering a financial arrangement that allows the reduction of wasted electricity funded by the savings without the need of capital
  • Installing a $100,000 piece of computer controlled equipment without a Surge Protective Device

EPS delivers value! We will train Electrical Contractors that want to elevate their game to the next level on the new and exciting technologies that we offer. We’ll provide technical, sales, and proposal training that will enable you to offer leading products and completely educate your customers on the energy impacts of your recommendations.

In the end, the level of service and value delivered to your customers elevates as does their loyalty to you!
